SBAB – less administration and better overview with Qondoc

“I feel that Qondoc is an innovative company. We now have an overview of our IT environment and see connections in a way that was not previously possible, and we avoid operational interruptions in connection with commissioning. I’m very pleased.” Interview with Robert Cato, who is operations and purchasing manager for two support departments with over 500 personal computers.

Less administration and a better overview

Before SBAB had Qondoc, all inventories were done manually. Robert Cato says: “I physically visited each computer and entered the result into a database. This took a long time. The database was also tiresome to update. If a change was made, you could not be certain that it had registered. We therefore invested in Qondoc. We now have an overview of our IT environment and see connections in a way that was previously not possible, and we avoid operational interruptions in connection with commissioning,” maintains Cato.

“I feel that Qondoc is an innovative company. I give them a mark of 8 out of 10. I enjoy good cooperation with them. They are good at listening, but they don’t just stop at that, they also act. Compared to ordinary companies, they really do implement the changes suggested by ourselves and other customers. That’s very valuable to me. Right now, we are introducing ITIL to quality assure our own IT work,” he concludes. “Qondoc is an important part of this work because documentation of the IT environment is a foundation bolt in ITIL. I’m very pleased.”

SBAB’s business concept is “financing housing easily and economically”. SBAB is owned by the Swedish government and has a total of five offices with over 400 employees.
