BITS got Hallsberg moving
The new recommendations require authorities and municipalities to guarantee a baseline level for information security, commonly abbreviated as BITS. So when the municipality of Hallsberg was looking for an effective tool to meet these requirements, they chose Qondoc Infrastructure Management. “BITS kicked off the process, and IT infrastructure is one of the aspects that require documenting,” Lars Eriksson, IT Co-ordinator for the municipality of Hallsberg, explains.
“Qondoc Infrastructure can do it all”
“We regard the Qondoc application as an excellent tool for the effective documentation of our IT infrastructure. We have looked at other tools, but no other system could offer what we needed. Except for Qondoc.”
Increased support for Novell platform
In addition, Hallsberg will be working with us here at Qondoc to increase support for their Novell platform. “We will be increasing the information retrieval capacity of our Linux-based Novell servers and plan to use the Qondoc Infrastructure application to obtain a complete IT inventory,” Lars Eriksson concludes.
