A simple choice
”Qondoc suited us the best and it should be great for other small communities as well,” says IT Manager Ulf Bertills. It was a simple choice for the IT department in Mullsjö; a small community that doesn’t have a large IT staff, but one that needs to manage a complex network with numerous users and systems. ”We had to find a system that would help us maintain structural control, one that could monitor our inventory as much as possible and still allow for an easy overview.”
Useful for all departments
The benefits of the Qondoc system will go beyond the Mullsjö IT Dept. Several local operations are based in the same building, and it makes good business sense for them to use the Qondoc applications as well. ”Technical Operations can keep track of their general agreements with Qondoc Contract Management; Emergency Services can chart their structure; and Finances can manage their leasing contracts in a more efficient manner,” Ulf Bertills explains.
Less vulnerable features
One of Mullsjö’s most complicated systems involves the child care sector. It may sound simple enough to maintain lists of child care providers, but since there are so many different kinds of child care, and the management of this task is allocated as a half-time position, it gets fairly complicated to keep track of all the various aspects. ”You end up with a quite a lot of input and output factors,” according to Ulf Bertills. ”Qondoc provides the pertinent data both in the system and in the feature itself, which makes it easier for various people to access and manage the information, and this makes us less vulnerable.”
